Rehabilitation

On May 22, 2019, Spindale celebrated the completed rehabilitation of the town's waste water treatment plant with a ribbon cutting. The plant was originally built in the 1970's.

Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ), Michael S. Regan, was in attendance to recognize the town for its efforts.
