About Mayor Walker
Mayor Walker was appointed Mayor in 2025 by the Spindale Town Council upon the passing of Mayor Mickey Bland. A lifelong Spindale resident, and retired teacher's assistant at Spindale Elementary School, Mayor Walker is no stranger to public service. Before her Mayoral appointment, she had previously served on the Spindale Board of Commissioners as both Commissioner and Mayor Pro-Tem.
Mayor Walker's deep love for the town, its history, and its people drives her ongoing commitment to ensuring a strong and vibrant future for Spindale.
