Amy Cowan

Commissioner Cowan is a graduate of RS Central and received her AA in Business Administration from Isothermal Community College. Commissioner Cowan is no stranger to Spindale having previously served on the Town's Planning Board/Board of Adjustment and the Centennial Celebration Committee. In a continuation of her public service, Commissioner Cowan was elected to the Spindale Town Council in November of 2024 and was sworn in on December 2nd, 2024. 

When asked about her interest to serve on the Board of Commissioners, she said, "I love Spindale. I want to see it thrive but not at the cost of its small-town charm. I am familiar with a wide variety of the town's area–The Planning and Zoning Board has helped with understanding zoning and land use."

Professionally, Commissioner Cowan serves as a property manager and specializes in acquiring property and managing rental property.
